Admission

1. Registration

All prospective candidates for any class must get their names registered at the school office. The dates of registration shall be intimated through the Principal’s circular. No registration shall be made prior to the dates specified.

2. Admission

There shall be a written test followed by an interview for admission to any class except for the Nursery Class. Selection will be strictly on merit, subject to the availability of seats in each class.

The decision of the school authorities regarding registration and admission will be final. There is no specific syllabus for the entrance test. However, the criterion is to have the necessary knowledge required to continue studies under the ICSE syllabus for the class to which admission is sought. The test will be conducted according to the school’s standards based on the subjects taught in previous classes.

Admission Requirements

  1. The academic year begins in March and ends in February.
  2. Admission to various classes shall be open to all irrespective of caste, creed, or race, subject to availability of seats. However, the school authorities and the Principal reserve the right to refuse admission to a student who, in their opinion, may not be able to cope with the studies and syllabus or whose health or conduct might affect other students. Registration does not guarantee admission; it only entitles the child to appear for an entrance test and interview, after which the school authorities and Principal will make the final decision.
  3. Students are usually admitted only at the beginning of the school year. Admission to Nursery is open to children aged three and a half years and above.
  4. Students seeking admission to classes other than Nursery must produce a School Leaving Certificate from their previous school. A bonafide certificate may be accepted at the time of the entrance test. The Principal may assess the student’s knowledge to determine the appropriate class for admission. A Birth Certificate from the Municipality or Hospital, duly attested, must be produced. No affidavit will be accepted. If a false birth certificate is submitted, the student will be barred from admission. Once registered, the date of birth cannot be changed under any circumstances.
  5. Parents/Guardians must fill in the admission form with complete accuracy. No changes will be permitted later for any reason.
  6. No student (except for Nursery) will be admitted without a prior test and interview.

The admission procedure is complete only after submission of all required documents and payment of fees. Failure to do so within three days will result in cancellation of admission and the seat will be allotted to the next child on the waiting list. The fee once paid is non-refundable. Admission to any class is solely at the discretion of the Principal.
